Job Description

IntroductionLam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading-edge semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas deposition, etch, photoresist strip, and single wafer clean. Lam Research India team is organized into three major areas of responsibility: Hardware, Software, and Operations. We have an open position in the Hardware group. The Hardware group, designs subassemblies and subsystems for Lam s product lines, providing innovation for the next-generation products, providing improvements in cost and reliability. In Hardware group, mechanical engineers, simulation analysts, electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and supplier quality engineers contribute to designing and improving Lam s products.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be creating and maintaining medium-complex part/assembly layout as per Bill of Materials. Collaborate with product development engineers in implementing Part changes on assembly. You need to consult with Product Group to translate design changes on Assembly Build, collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams for problem solving and decision making. Accountable for delivering on time with quality as per Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Execute Large assembly based on design intent in Unigraphics-NX
  • Good in understanding in the Product Configurations
  • Implements design /design changes based on Bill of Materials Update.
  • Create Linked Exterior, Assembly Representation in Unigraphics-NX
  • Cable routing by working with cross functional engineers- Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, etc. CAD Tool NX Cable routing module.
  • Create / Update procedures, templates, Spec sheets etc.
  • Good Understanding in Engineering Change Management Process, SAP, PLM
  • Experience in running interference analysis
