Model Based Systems Engineering Simulation Tool DeveloperJob DescriptionBorgWarner Technical Center India Private Limited, a subsidiary of BorgWarner Inc. islooking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals for leading and developingSimulation methods and tools. The MBSE Simulation Tool developer is responsible fordeveloping & maintaining Simulation methods and tools used for xEV propulsionsystems analysis and design. This includes development of simulation framework,Modeling guidelines, Integration automation of homogenours and heterogenousmodels, integration of pre- and post-processing scripts, model & data configurationmanagement, processing & analysis of test data for use in simulation and modelapplication to customer projects.Responsibilities Develop a Simulation Framework for use in System Analysis, Design Optimizationand System verification for xEV drive systems. Develop scalable, Time efficient and Accurate simulation solutions that can bedeployed in a Homogenous (One tool) or Heterogenous Simulation (multipletools / Co simulation/FMU) or High Performance Computing Machine. Develop and support DOE, Monte carlo like simulation automation methodsand supporting Report Generation Solutions Analyse and evaluate Simulation capabilities , tools and methods for improvingSimulation competency for the team. Develop Modeling guideslines and model advisor rules for establishingstandards for model development and use. Maintain Configuration Management process for simulation models, system,sub-system & component model parameters, and input & output data sets. Identification and Adoption of relevant Methods, Tools & Technology andchampion continuous improvement initiatives Process and analyze data sets from bench/lab/vehicle testing for modelvalidation as needed. Present results internally and to customers.Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering. 5 years of experience in Modeling and Simulation in the areas of Mechanical,Thermal and Electrical domains Expert Level experience in C/C and Python. Expert level experience with MATLAB, MS Excel, TDMS and DAT file conversion. Experience with Data Anaysis, Processing and Statistical Methods. Experience with Numerical Computation methods and best practices Experience with Cosimulation Tools and FMU/FMI development. Experience in configuration management tools. Knowledge of efficient data file archive / retrieval / storage tools andprocesses.Preferred Experience Master s Degree in Engineering or Science. Skilled in Automotive Hardware and Software Development processes.
