Job Summary:Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Experience building highly automated environments using virtual and cloud resources is strongly desired.
• Knowledge of Azure Automation account for Linux Ansible Phyton and/or Windows PowerShell is a plus.
• Preferably Selenium with Java and/or HP UFT with VB background - Knowledge at scripting/coding level
• Experience and knowledge of HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA, or any relevant defect management tool.
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases.
• Experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle.
• Good knowledge of database concepts , experience in writing SQL Scripts
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures and multi-threading concepts.
• Ability to work across Windows, Linux is a plus.
• Performance Testing experience is a plus using tools like JMeter, Load runner etc.
• Self starter, Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Quality Assurance and Agile Lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and integrate with cultural differences and engage with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams.
• Working experience in agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the delivery of test plans to ensure product quality, setting project timelines and monitoring the activities of other testers
• Designs, develops, and supports test strategies for functional including Automation and non-functional domains, solving escalated issues and resolves issues that may impede the test effort
• Leads the identification of the test scope, estimate them, test environment set-up, prepares test strategy, help the team to implement the test strategy, resolve blockers while execution, report relevant metrics to stakeholders.
• Defines and reviews internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs
• Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components or modifications

Key skills

• Strong understanding of Testing concepts & standards. Strong understanding of Agile methodology
• Good understanding on Automation Testing concepts, able to implement automation strategy, should be able to guide automation testing team. Good understanding on Performance testing concepts and able to guide performance testing team.
• Good understanding in automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle.
• Hands-on experience authoring, building and adopting large-scale, automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, functional, API and back-end integration (including end-to-end automation)

• Experience with different test automation approaches (including BDD and hybrid)
• Experience in Selenium with Java / Python - Knowledge at scripting/coding level
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to find the root cause
• Experience in integrating test automation into CI/CD process and instrumenting full SDLC automation
• Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps or any relevant defect management tool.
• Self starter, Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

National and international travel may be requiredJob Requirements:Education:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Experience:

• Minimum 4+Years of experience in Testing with hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
