He/She will also be responsible for leading complex implementation, developing strategies, integration, enhancement, or audit projects. The Platform Expert - Native HANA reports to Delivery Manager. Innovation Team ,Application Platform Owners, Business process owners, Infrastructure team Externally: Third-party technology providers, Strategic PartnersLocation: Position will be based in Bangalore Willing to travel occasionally for onsite meetings and team workshops as requiredRESPONSIBILITIES :-1.As Platform Expert - Native HANAEstablish platform specific standards guidelines, checklists Best Practices for architectural development and compliance, Guidelines on Data refreshes, develop long term strategies, and roadmaps (12-36 months), in adherence to Enterprise standards. Develop and Maintain Data Modeling and Data Management Architecture Strategies. Produce data Architectural design and guidance for complete application lifecycle design, development, deployment, support and Advanced Analytics solutions.Provide data Solution Design for Complex Initiatives and perform data feasibility studiesApply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability. Make recommendations and proposals for database optimization. Develop functional & technical design document to make SAP functional modules to Analytical systems as well as support business in pre-studies.Strong ability to produce new technology specifications, solutions ,designed for optimal access. Demonstrate strong ability to gain buy-in on proposed solutions. Lead research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes).Ensure ADD (Architecture Design Document) are all up-to-date, complete the ADD for each new improvement of the Platform Maintain the CMDB and all the documents repository for all the platforms.2. Plan and implement projects:Develop a detailed project plan, define/validation of scope, objectives involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility. Monitor and track progress, Prepares action plans. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Provide technical expertise to propose effort estimates, work breakdown structures and technical resource planning for proposed and current work, to support the Demand Management process. Review the ongoing implementation solution for improvement opportunities.Manage gates validations, Collaborate with the Shared Service Center on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Service Mode, Collaborate with the Project Delivery team on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Project Mode.Provide assistance, coach ,mentor, on-the-job training with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge. Ensure collaboration Functional Architects as business cases are setup for each initiative, collaborate with other analytics team to drive and operationalize analytical deployment. Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.Strong ability to take the lead and be autonomous Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement. Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCETo be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

• 15 + years of experience with SAP- Analytics and technologies like SAP HANA, SAP BW/BO,ETL,ABAP knowledge, SQL scripting, Data Analytics.
• With minimum 5+ years experience on Native HANA 2.0 modelling (hands on), 1 full life cycle HANA implementation is must.
• With 5+ years of solution architect experience with deeper knowledge data integration with Data lake/data warehouse.
• With minimum 2+ Years of SQL / PL SQL experience, Stored Procedures, Function Calls, Designing tables, data loads. Ability to use SQL Script debugger, ability to use functions (including table and scalar functions),triggers, libraries in SQLScript.
• Experience to enable Data Provisioning by using standard SAP integration technologies (SDI, SLT, SDA & SDI.
• Should have strong knowledge Data Aging in SAP HANA, TABLE partition, Native Store Extension for SAP HANA
• Should have knowledge on Exposing Data as OData Services. Must be able to provide strong recommendations on Performance Tuning and Best practices.
• Strong knowledge on Native HANA modelling via new XS Advanced (XSA) development environment using SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA, graphical calculation views, input parameters and variable of calculation views, Join types, and table functions.
• Hands on experience in Designing, Developing & Maintaining advanced SAP BO reports using WEBI / Rich Client Experience in creating & maintaining advanced visualizations.
• Demonstrate ability to implement SAP security to prevent unauthorized access to data models. Strong knowledge on design and configuration of SAP HANA modelling Security authorization roles, use analytic privileges.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge in one or more functional areas (Sales, Logistics, P2P, Production planning, Procurement, Finance(AR, AP, GL), Engineering and FI areas)
• SAP Certification : Application Associate - SAP HANA 2.0 SPS04 is a mandatory.
• Exposure to SOLMAN 7.2 charm tool is an added advantage.
• Build Report/Dashboards using SAC from different source systems is an added advantage.
• Have fair knowledge on Administrative maintenance tasks, Application Security, Patch updates and Upgrades is an added advantage.
• Strong exposure working on Cloud BI implementation and architecture Analytical solution on Azure cloud platform. (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) is an added advantage.EDUCATION Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related fieldBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES The candidate should demonstrate: Structured thought process and articulation Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Analytical bent of mind and be willing to question the status quo Possess excellent soft skills.
