Job Description

    This role will be responsible for all aspects of software development, testing and ensuring compatibility with enterprise and solutions architecture by harnessing modern development technologies. The position is for a Vice President within the Asset and Wealth Management Technology within the Discretionary Workflow team. The team is looking for a hands-on senior software manager to work on and manage application that is build upon Spring/Spring Boot, and is on Cloud and Legacy infrastructure. and lead a small team of smart technical professionals. This position will give you immense opportunity to work on some latest technologies. The role will also provide a rich functional experience and an excellent platform to bring exciting changes to the existing platform. Responsibilities Include
    • Support the current systems and ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing, dev ops and level two production support.
    • Help design and build the next generation break management system and contribute to an agile development team working with designers, analysts, users and leads
    • Apply quality software engineering practices through all phases of development and into production
    • Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment.
    • Nurture the talent around you and lead by example.
    • Being at a senior position, people would look up to you and you would be responsible for driving an inclusive and competitive culture in the teams.
    Experience and Qualifications
    • 12+ years hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software systems.
    • Strong foundation in Java and related technologies
    • Hands on experience on solid coding background on Java/j2ee, Spring, and deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS
    • Excellent database knowledge with a focus on Oracle.
    • Good to have experience with both front-end web development (such as Angular, Type Script) and building systems using distributed computing technologies particularly using Java related technologies and deploying them on High-available, Resilient, Scalable, Performant infrastructure
    • B.E. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
    • An ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions
