The candidate will work within the systems development team to develop algorithms as well as practical implementations of these algorithms in hardware or software.Developing practical implementations of high-speed transceiver algorithms, carefully architected for low-power, high-throughput, and robustness.o Simulating and verifying the performance of these implementations with other teams.o Development and debugging of bit and cycle accurate models of these algorithms.o Chip bring-up, performance testing/evaluation, and trouble-shooting problems.o Working with FW and MW teams to ensure that the end product meets product requirements.Job Qualificationso Electrical engineering or computer science degrees: typically, a BS degree and 9 years of experience, an MS degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent.o Strong fundamentals in digital communications, signal processing, and hardware design.o Design and implementation experience in wireless communication architectures.o Proficiency in C/C and Matlab/Simulink are required.o Background in RTL design and analog/RF is desirable.o Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, TcL, and Python is a plus.o Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc. is desirable.o Excellent communication skills and willingness to interact with various groups within the company.,
