Job Description

  • Pipeline and efficiency within own Area
  • Resource requesting from Leaders and adapting Area resources to Feature Owners/POs according to feature priority and team s competence profile in cooperation with the line organization
  • Deliverables in the scope of the Area
  • Ownership of backlog items and Area commitments within own Area to secure delivery of e2e integrated features
  • Planning Area Software/HW needs
  • Planning, execution, and reporting of the tests for the features owned by the Area
  • Meeting DoD requirements at FB and Sprint exit reviews
  • Follows that automation targets are met / improves automation ratio
  • Fulfillment of the Product Owner role for a group of Feature Teams in software development area.
  • Preparation to and participation in the key meetings requiring Product Owner s attendance (Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinements).
  • Taking responsibility for the planning and reporting of the status of features allocated to the Feature Team Cluster
  • Effective communication and alignment of plans with other LPO s from different components (both SW and test) in order to ensure new features delivery in timely manner and with quality.
  • Managing risks that occur during planning and executions phase, including contingency plans preparation and presentation
Requirements:Good understanding of Agile software development Very good knowledge of Scrum framework Proven experience in programming and/or software testing Experience in estimation and task planning Understating of project management aspects Leadership and problem solving skills Ability to influence without authority Excellent communication skills Attention to details Fluent English, both spoken and written
  • 15+ years of experience in Telecommunications Networks domain
  • 10+ years of experience with Agile frameworks and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Start-up, and Continuous Delivery.
  • 8+ years of experience in directly leading teams building Telecommunication Software products
  • Exposure to Operability and Serviceability area
  • Possess the following Agile Leadership traits :
  • Business-minded and passionate about getting people aligned towards a common goal.
  • Flexible and pragmatic about methods and processes, so as to be able to use own judgment to apply the appropriate model and approach that fits best with the context.
  • Possess a deep understanding of agile and lean thinking
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance, without become a bottleneck.
  • Willing to work in lean and extremely agile environment / start-up work culture to achieve stiff and challenging targets
  • Ability to get people inspired and rallied around a higher purpose.
  • Servant leader who can enable self-organization in large cross-functional efforts, and how pull-based scheduling works in practice.
  • Knack for spotting waste and calling it out.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty, accepting that uncertainty is a fact of life when innovating, and manage uncertainty through a tight feedback loop rather than detailed upfront planning.
