Let s start the conversation.Position Title: Project Manager - IT Global Project Management OfficePosition Summary: Lead project teams and oversee the planning, strategy and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects that align with Momentive s Digital Strategy. The IT Project Manager manages an IT team, keeps track of output and performance and looks for innovative solutions to problems that may arise. They also ensure teams adhere to the project management methodology and use the right tools, processes and reporting principles.

  • Plan, organize, and direct the completion of IT projects while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, budget, and resources.
  • Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectation as needed.
  • Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects and programs.
  • Analyze project data and provide metrics and reports to IT leadership that drive actions to improve our project management capabilities.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of the IT project management methodology, ensuring project managers have support needed to effectively deliver on project execution.
  • Assist in administration of project management system including generation of reports and metrics to be presented to the IT leadership team.
  • Work closely with the Business Partnership team to ensure demand management is supported.
Decision Making Authority:Within the confines of the established IT global PMO processes, across the global IT organization.Key Metrics Role is Accountable For:Project schedules, budgets, risks, resource capacity and allocation.Key Relationships:CIO, IT Leadership Team, IT Global Business Partners, IT Project Managers, project management system related vendors and resources.Travel RequirementsNoneAdditional Details:Disclaimer: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
