The platform is responsible for order execution, automated trading, controls, monitoring and client / exchange connectivity. We are continuously innovating, expanding and optimizing the platform. The team works closely with end users, network & unix engineering, and 3rd party vendors. You will be responsible for our end-to-end development & delivery infrastructure. You will cover all aspects of the developer experience toolchain, continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline, build systems, deployment automation, test automation, and observability infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in DevOps automation and full-stack development. The candidate will be part of an established team, working with like-minded individuals around the globe, they will require good communication skills. Upcoming challenges include containerization of application runtime & cloud adoption, building observability & analytics tools for our trading apps, and scaling of our monorepo to accommodate hundreds of new developers. This is an area of investment in Morgan Stanley, the successful candidate will have opportunity to grow and shape our future strategy., *Role Profile: You will work as developer responsible for the day-to-day of our Automation and Developer toolchain. Write code primarily in Python. Investigate, analyse, and diagnose issues with a focus on solving them in a live environment. Work with industry leading trading, high frequency, low latency systems. Move quickly your changes can be live in a few minutes. High quality our software is well written, extensively tested, clearly documented. Teamwork you will be part of a collaborative team setting of like-minded peers. Work with some of the best technologists in the industry. Technologies we use: Jupyter, Bazel, Python 3, Containers, Kubernetes, RedHat7, Grafana, Testplan, JenkinsExperience: 3 to 7yearsSkills: Strong problem solving skills. Passionate about writing tools to automate workload and eliminate manual labour Proficiency with Python development Experience with running large CI/CD build & release systems Knowledge of Linux, C/C++ or Java, Grafana (or similar), all beneficial but not essential Knowledge of financial technologies (e.g. FIX, Equities, Options) is an advantage but not required
