*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. You will work with databases, distributed systems, microservices, message bus/queues, and front-end UIs. Our stack includes React, Java, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and many other open source tools.You will use your problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions to real business problems with internet-scale data. You will succeed by coupling critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination and working effectively with your teammates.About You

• You are a software engineer with an obsession to quality and has 4-6 years of experience
• You love coding and testing, and want to do both and grow in both
• You have a college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent bootcamp certification
• You have with experience with a back-end language (ideally Java or NodeJS, but other experience is great as well)
• You have experience with JavaScript and a major UI framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc)
• You understand, have written, and have consumed RESTful APIs
• You know how to test a web service start to finish, from integration tests to UI tests to functional e2e tests (and know the difference)
• You have experience using test automation tools like Cypress, Puppeteer, and Playwright
• You have experience with Performance and/or Security testing
• You know what SOLID stands for and routinely apply it in your code
• You have experience building and consuming frameworks to make testing easier
• You re familiar with Continuous Integration / Delivery principles and practices
• You enjoy mentoring and learning from others
• You learn new concepts and technologies on your own (at work or otherwise)
