TE Connectivity s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams support mainframe, Unix, Linux, and Windows based servers. This includes installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and backup/recovery of physical and virtual servers. They monitor servers for performance and availability and works with customers and vendors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. TE s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams analyze application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware configuration to meet requirements, install, configure, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot technical systems software such as middleware, portal, e-mail, collaboration, unified communications, systems monitoring, trouble ticketing, software distribution, etc. They also evaluate new products, upgrade features, and recommend toolset selection.Duties:Responsible for management of a blended on-prem/online Skype for Business/MS Teams platform containing ~30 servers and ~50K users located in EMEA, Americas and APAC. Responsible for management of an integrated third provider audio conferencing provider Intercall containing ~6 active/active integration servers Responsible for innovation and automation in the Skype/Teams area and admin tools. Will work closely with New Product Development organization, Quality and Operations to improve End to End Dimensional Metrology Value Stream.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead a team to support the Geometrical and Dimensional Metrology of New products (First Article Inspection, Post Tool Correction Dimensional Validation, PPAP Measurement Reports etc.) and contribute towards deliverables adhering to the process and continuously evaluating scope of improvement. Responsible for performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Reviewing the same with the help of KPIs, submitting reports and implementation of necessary corrective actions in consultation with the management. Effective resource management and workload distribution considering forecast, employee leave plans, peak load situation etc. Regular interactions to understand measurement requirements from internal customers (Product Engineers / Mold Engineers) as per 2D/3D drawings and CAD Models, and effectively translating them into measurement programs in a Metrology Software. Responsible for defining objectives, reviewing employee performance and development regularly and providing necessary feedback & support for meeting defined objectives. Assessing the skill level of the team members against the requirement and preparing necessary training plans to bridge the gap. Guiding the team in case of technical ambiguities in the field of part measurement and validation in terms of GD&T ASME/ISO GPS. Adherence to the process and ceaseless effort in reviewing the existing process to bring in Continuous improvements. Work directly with our customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met Work closely with Human resources and management to recruit new talent: assign, direct and evaluate their workEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:BE/ BTech (Mechanical/Mechatronics) / Diploma in Mechanical with lead role experience. Knowledge of Product Validation Process (APQP, PPAP). Knowledge of various Techniques and Software used for Dimensional Inspection of Molded and Stamped Parts. Knowledge of international standards and codes (ASME, ISO) related to product measurement and validation.CRITICAL EXPERIENCE:Overall 2+ years of experience in the areas of Metrology/Quality Assurance, in Manufacturing Industries is preferable. Thorough knowledge of GD&T concept and experience with its application in product design and validation. Experience in 3D Metrology software Volume Graphics for analysis of Computed Tomography Scan Data. Additionally, knowledge of Laser/Light scanning and the software GOM, Polyworks, Geomagic is preferable Hands on experience working with Computed Tomography Scanning Machine will be an added advantage Basic working knowledge of CREO Modeling SoftwareCompetencies:Values: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation,
