Job Description

  • MCA or B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
  • 1-4 years of overall experience in software engineering.
  • Technical skills
  • Hands on experience of functional testing for web-based applications.
  • Hands on Java programming language and/or any object-oriented programming knowledge, design and debugging skills.
  • OS: Any flavor of UNIX, preferably Linux.
  • DB: Experience of working with any RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Continuous Integration tools: Jenkins or equivalent.
  • Automation framework tools: Selenium, Sahi, QTP or equivalent.
  • Hands on experience in test development for various business cases of web application involving testing User Interface, SOAP/REST APIs and the responsiveness of application.
  • Experience with working in Agile Development Methodologies.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
  • Be able to do planning (overall QA strategy, Release QA planning) of the assigned QA deliverable.
  • Takes initiatives. Undertakes self and team s development activities.
  • Demonstration of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong communicator, influencer and ability to work with various stakeholders in an effective way to deliver results.
Desirable
  • Familiarity or experience with Cloud environment like AWS.
  • Knowledge of Performance and Security testing.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Product/Domain Expertise: Acquire product/domain expertise which can help to deliver quality deliverables.
  • Planning and Execution: Planning of the assignments for functional/automation and overall QA strategy, Release QA planning.
  • Automation: Understand available automation frameworks, tooling, infrastructure and play vital role in test automation coverage, implementation and improve upon existing automation
