Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management, data visualization and analysis, data wrangling, and translating business requirements into a data execution strategy.The job entails working with various partners across CX, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Digital Enterprise Services (IT), Data & Analytics team, TRON, to capture requirements, advise them of interdependencies and impacts, process re-design (as needed), build and testing through reporting and adoption, etc. you should have the ability to connect all the dots, and lead efforts for their track which would often be part of a larger business initiative. Effective partnership with multiple partner groups and senior/executive management is required on a day-to-day basis.You will:

  • Enable Global Renewals Policy (GRP) operational improvement through the strategic management and data analysis of business drivers and industry best practices.
  • Assist and motivate change with the strategic development and management of performance measurements and control systems.
Provide leadership for Recurring Revenue Policy, Process Solutioning, and analytics projects and ensuring strong controls, governance and delivery of reporting and insights.Ensure strong partner relationships are maintained, developing cadence for communication and interaction.Articulate and handle the business impacting vs operational requirements and setting prioritizations.Closely collaborating with the other initiatives / track owners handling interdependencies optimally.Work across the TRON teams and Data & Analytics teams to deliver critical reporting capabilities on time.Maintain and improve performance metrics of your project.Ensure the initiatives meet the investment requirements and have acceptable quality management systems in place to meet the quality and control requirements.Maintain reporting cadence for overall track status to senior manager and executive team, peers, and other business partners on a consistent basis.Promote partnership to drive rigor & delivery of initiatives and transformation of processes to respond to rapid business needs. Our team s mission is to deliver solutions, policy enhancements, data and insights driven recurring revenue growth and expansion. Ultimately, this team will be integral in helping identify, position, and sell more Cisco products and services to our customers aiding in our shift to recurring revenue and top line growth. Partnering with business architects, operational teams, and domain specialists to build, refine, and document process models, requirements, workflows, and data flows. Analyzing sophisticated business problems and collaborating with Architects and Development Leads to define and document system capabilities and features. The ideal person will be hands-on, highly execution-focused, and an ace in business, commerce, recurring revenue data analysis and reporting, with experience to back it to be successful in this role,Manage and lead product/program to deliver best-in-class solutions.Consult with business stakeholders to collaboratively gather requirements based on best practices.Work with a supporting cast of analysts and engineers to translate business requirements into user storiesBuild agendas, facilitate meetings, list actions and follow-up with key team members to drive the delivery of their actionsBuild mock-ups for new capabilities, PoC, dashboards and predictive modelsHelp facilitate the design of data visualizations and dashboards based on data availability and models createdPartner closely with data engineering to ensure on-time delivery of data relevant to the roadmap.Work with change management to socialize, evangelize products as well as determine KPIs and key metrics to measure success of the program/productDocument business processes, new and existing data models, solutions, and implementationsYou should: have an understanding of how cisco s Operations organization worksYou can lead partners effectively, strong understanding of our functions.Youll have the ability to translate business needs to our it partners as delivering capabilities, is key for you in this role.Minimum Qualifications:10-14+ years of professional experience as a Business Analysis Manager or other technical role, or general business management. MBA from a credible institution is a plus.An understanding of selling and commerce motions, Familiarity with sales coverage models and principles.5+ years in product management role or function and proven experience developing and executing capability roadmapsStrong communication and presentation skills and proven experience communicating to senior leadershipDeep understanding of key renewal metrics such as ARR, RR, deferred revenue, accruals, etc., with understanding of cisco s product as well as services (cx) business and different hierarchical views based on sales as well as product (be) hierarchies.Experience in analytics and supporting key business decision- making experience / understanding of performance management, statistical analysis, and trending a plusStrong hands-on experience with reporting technologies such as micro strategy, business objects, Hyperion essbase, or comparable tools required. experience working with multiple data platforms and hierarchy management tools, with very strong enterprise data analysis skills.Consistent track record of effective partnerships with various cross-functional business teams including itHave positive relationship management and influencing skills and be able to work collaboratively and seamlessly at all levels.Demonstrate ability to work in team environment and help resolve issuesStrong written and oral communications skillsConsultative, collaborative nature and client-service orientedSelf-starter and highly execution focused.Why youll love ciscoEverything is converging on the internet, making networked connections more relevant than ever before in our lives.
