Job Description

*Ethics and compliance team: Build Trust throughout our ecosystem by growing an effective Ethics & Compliance cultureWe ensure the way we do business adheres to laws, regulations, to the highest standards of ethics and safety, and is in line with our commitmentsWhy to apply for this position Fulfilling its mission & commitments to the highest standards of ethics and compliance responsibility by promoting a culture of integrity and compliance with Trust Charter and all the policies part of the Ethics & Compliance program. Building, maintaining and continuously improving the compliance culture through prevention, detection and responses of compliance issues and full deployment of the Group Ethics & Compliance program in India.Main Responsibilities

  • Support the India Management, Leaders and employees regarding Ethics & Compliance topics;
  • Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the company policies and procedures related to the Group Ethics & Compliance Program, in collaboration with Regional Legal teams, Human Resources and permanent support of Ethics Delegates;
  • Manage the risk assessment process regarding ethics & compliance topics and the related actions plan, in close collaboration with Business and Operations teams, Internal control & Audit teams;
  • Manage the alerts from Whistleblowing system with collaboration with Group Operational Compliance Committee, and Fraud Examination Team;
  • Further develop the Ethics & Compliance program awareness through training and communication as appropriate and conduct trainings in person (onsite or virtual);
  • Understand the business in the region, its equipment and services, go-to-market strategies, risks and apply this knowledge to make the compliance program effective in the region, based on speed and internal / external customer focus, while managing risks;
  • Be the India lead for the Group Compliance Team, driving consistent approach in Global projects in which the Regional Compliance Officers are consulted;
  • Support the monitoring of the Ethics & Compliance program, with supervision of recommendations made by Internal Control and Internal Audit teams;
  • Ensure bottom up approach by sharing best practices with and report any major issue to the Group Compliance Team;
  • Represent Schneider Electric in India external forums and contribute or lead actively to working groups in the fields of Ethics & Compliance.

  • Very close collaboration with India Legal, HR, Internal Control & Audit, Ethics Delegates network.

  • Capacity to identify and deploy prevention strategies to mitigate risks.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong leadership
  • Good ability to network in various environments & matrix organization.
  • Languages: fluent in English, other language is an advantage.
