Job Description

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a release/change manager in Global Information Solutions, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams through meetings, tools and metrics to ensure the proper change and release management practices are followed and communicated to broad audiences, You will also be responsible for process improvements, governance, and training. Change Management

  • Usher change requests for IT services, applications and infrastructure through the ITIL process
  • Work across IT organizations using meetings, phone calls, and emails to communicate risks and benefits of requested changes
  • Follow up with requesters to drive clarity and additional detail on change requests
  • Ensure changes are closing within specified SLAs and fulfilling requesters need
Release Management
  • Oversee a cross-functional calendar that includes multiple application and infrastructure releases
  • Use a holistic vantage point to balance releases across systems and teams
  • Use meetings and a SharePoint site to keep stakeholders abreast of release calendar and status of releases
Minimum QualificationsQualifications
  • BS or BA in Technical or Business field of study or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to communicate, both verbally and in written form, well to all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes a must. Certifications a plus!
  • Service Now tool use and proven ability to use quantitative metrics (from ServiceNow and other sources) and qualitative metrics (from surveys and conversations with stakeholders) to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement.
