osition: RF Support Engineer Location: Bangalore As a RF Support Engineer you will have responsibility for providing RF support to customers using advanced RF technologies like LTE , LTE - A test products. Strong understanding and knowledge in the RF Concepts. Hands on RF test experience to include test setup and calibration. Work closely with customer regarding system testing , performance / optimization , and recommending configuration changes as needed Understanding of following technologies will be added advantage = 5GNR , LTE , LTEA , WCDMA , and GSM / GPRS As a member of Support team , you will utilize your RF knowledge , deep product expertise , and effective customer communication to enable customers to identify customer UE issues and / or identify issues with our products. Candidate expected to be responsible for testing and verifying RF and / or limited protocol requirements , will work with development and verification teams in closing the gaps Analyse Network trace Mobile and Chipset logs to identify problems and develop investigation strategies Support will also include the installation , maintenance , and support of our test systems during test evaluation Requirements: We are looking for candidates with experience in RF module , mobile phone , etc. Experience with Mobiles test equipment such as Spectrum Analyser , Signal generator etc. Solid understanding of Conducted and Radiated RF test techniques including cable loss and interference Solid understanding of TX Power , TX EVM , and RX sensitivity testing. Understanding of digital communications systems , RF propagation , CDMA , OFDM , telecommunications concepts Understanding of the RF physical layer. Working Experience with RF Conformance system hardware and software for 3G and LTE will be added advantage. Nice to have working knowledge in GCF and PTCRB conformance specification of 34.121 , 36.521 - 1 , 36.521 - 3. Nice to have understanding of mmWave , Antenna technology , Beam forming and OTA testing. Nice to have experience with Qualcomm / Intel testing experience. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills , high motivation The ability to learn quickly , and must be a self - starter Experience: 4 - 8 years.
