Job Description

Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose:Primary objective of this position is to manage sales of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability studies and Phase-1 Trials offered by Clinical Development Business Units. The incumbent shall be responsible for demand generation from across the globe.Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop sales plan in consultation with Commercial Head and BU Head of Clinical Development, and implement the same
  • Work closely with Head-Clinical to grow Phase-1 trials business to contribute at least 50% to the overall HPU business
  • Work closely with Sales reps, RFx and Lead generation teams to help them generate RFPs, submit proposals of good quality and to win bids
  • Work closely with Commercial Head and BU Head of Clinical Development to plan for organic and inorganic grow of HPU business
  • Ensure that site tours by clients are well coordinated
  • Represent Syngene at domestic and international conferences
  • Update and maintain sales database and prepare MIS for sales reviews
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
  • Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team.
Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate, preferably with an MBA
Experience:
  • More than 10 years of experience in CRO or Life Sciences
Technical/functional Skills:
  • Candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in MS-office.
  • Candidate should have the ability to analyze client needs and provide solutions.
  • Knowledge of basic concepts of ICH-GCP, Schedule-Y, Clinical trial related regulations and Bioequivalence & Bioavailability guidelines.
  • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices.
Behavioral Skills:
  • Candidate should possess Leadership skills.
  • Candidate should have excellent cross functional coordination skills for smooth functioning.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, and Presentation skills.
