Job Description

Role - SAP MDM AnalystThe SAP Master Data Management Analyst will maintain the integrity of SAP Master Data in support of business operations. The role entails harmonizing data from different sources and working proactively to identify, prevent, and correct master data errors to root cause resolution. You will partner with multiple business functions to create and manage data governance rules, product attributes, bill of materials, and related operational data in SAP production environment. The MDM Analyst will champion for continuous improvement and develop tools, processes, and documentation to standardize and improve master data integrity at all global sites.Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain SAP master data in support of Operations. This includes but not limited to supporting business functions: Engineering, MFG, Supply Chain, and Finance. Provide timely and accurate data maintenance, as well as meeting target service levels for NPI and product changes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure timely and accurate completion of master data. Become subject matter expert to identify process improvements and become point of contact for Operations and deliver training on data fields, system behaviors, and industry best practices in support of existing sites and new site expansions.
  • Develop and monitor functional area metrics identifying master data errors to timely correction/remediation, and work to identify new tools and processes (reports/business rules, training) to proactively identify and prevent errors.
  • Change Management Manage completion of SAP configuration in accordance with requirements from Agile and new/Oracle Cloud PLM. Work with PLM Change Management to align SAP operations
  • Perform data profiling and cleansing by evaluating data gathered from multiple sources. Identify anomalies, reconcile differences, and develop dashboards to improve data quality by following or expanding existing data governance process.
Minimum Requirements:Education or Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree with 5+ years of related work experience OR
  • Master s degree with 3+ years of related work experience
Knowledge and skills:
  • Thorough understanding of SAP master data principals.
  • Understanding of supply chain operations and general manufacturing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Related experience in a diagnostic, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Agile, lifecycle management, and advanced database/Excel skills.
Physical requirements/abilities:
  • Some travel to global sites is required. (5%)
