Job Description

    The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated SecDevOps Automation Engineer to work as a CICD automation developer and contributor across development and SRE for the IBM Environmental Intelligence Suite of products. In this role, you will be responsible for automating development, integration & deployment pipelines to further streamline and shift-left end-to-end activities. You ll closely collaborate with the broader Product Management, Design, Development & Support team using Scrum agile methodology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to IBM s Environmental Intelligence Suite and help build AI powered actionable intelligence built on the world s most accurate weather data and petabytes of geospatial data that when harnessed can enable businesses to manage risks & plan for improved resiliency and efficiency.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Overall 4 6 years of experience
    • 1-3 years experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large scale SaaS applications using Jenkins
    • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
    • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible
    • Good Understanding of Security on Cloud based applications
    • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Understanding of cloud-based technologies
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python.
    • Experience with SRE & System Adminstration
    • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
