We empower the original mobile device: YOU!What were looking for:You are a passionate infrastructure engineer, who has hand-on experience in networking , Storage, Hypervisors and a strong understanding of Active DirectoryPosition OverviewYou will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and commissioning of the infrastructure keeping Citrix engineering productive and effective. You will be expected to deal with issues across a number of technology areas, even when this is outside of your core skillset making use of SRE methodologies to ensure proper support of all aspects of the infrastructure. The role will involve working in a shift pattern across weekend and weekdays to ensure we have 24x7 global support coverage for our internal customers.Role Responsibilities

  • You will make effective use of monitoring, data analytics and other sources of information to both pro-actively and reactively deal with critical issues across multiple infrastructure services
  • You will determine issues and resolve cases received by the Engineering Helpdesk
  • Will be responsible for identifying and implementing improved platform security
  • You will take part in upgrading and updating the system s platform and applications, installing latest patches and upgrades
  • Will strengthen the apps, the Windows server, and the principal operating system
  • You will provide technical assistance for all the servers, desktops, and services that apply business
  • Will triage helpdesk calls and classifying cases according to their priorities and accelerations
  • You will check and control the VM s & Hardware offering solutions to any problems discovered
Basic Qualifications
  • You will have experience in scheduling and executing high risk, high criticality infrastructure maintenance
  • Have experience in supporting a varied set of stakeholders and services, from lab through to high criticality production and understanding the needs of both ends of the spectrum
  • You will have experience in either one or more of the following Networking technologies : Cisco Nexus and / or ACI, with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals
  • You will have experience in either one or more of the following Storage technologies: NetApp deployment, with a solid grasp on the delivery of reliable and secure storage services across multiple architectures
  • Will have experience in either one or more of the following Compute Technologies: Cisco UCS, both standalone and chassis based or NetApp HCI
  • Will have experience in Citrix Hypervisor or Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors
  • You will have experience in either one or more of the following Backup technologies : Provisioning and maintenance of effective backups using CommVault
  • Have experience supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktop setup of the institution, which includes, XenDesktop, XenApp, and others
  • You will have an intermediate understanding of SRE philosophy and other IT operations frameworks is advantageous.
  • You should be able to provide all the necessary support for Citrix Infrastructure.
  • You will have excellent understanding of how to trouble shoot & Architect Active Directory
  • You should be willing to work in Shifts.
  • You will have a full time Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a full time MCA.
  • Have at least 4 years experience in the software development industry
