The position offers the opportunity for rapid growth and advancement within a fast growing, high-tech, energy software provider.The CompanyOur client, an American Oil & Gas Software Company, based out of mid Southwest region in USA has been a leader in Oil & Gas SAAS ERP Software for upstream & downstream companies, truly making them the future of energy technology.Position Name: Senior Cognos EngineerJob Location: Bangalore (and work from home)Key Responsibilities:
    1. Create Cognos solutions, design Cognos Reports and Frameworks and provide Cognos Report and Dashboard expertise to Cognos developers.
    2. Gather and analyze business requirements, planning, preparing, implementing, organizing, and executing developmental tasks and developing and delivering solutions to production.
    3. Responsible for run time performance and tuning of the queries.
    Requirements: -
    1. Bachelors degree (engineering, computer science, accounting, finance, MIS, or related fields)
    2. Strong knowledge in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Tools.
    3. Experienced in FM Dimensional Modeling, Transformer cubes, design, and development.
    4. High proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. Must possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
    5. 8+ years of experience in Cognos Reporting & Dashboard Development
    The Position will offer you the autonomy to make important decisions while receiving support and guidance along the way. You bring your intelligence, creativity, and curiosity; and the rest can be taught to you.
