Job Description

As a Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer, you will be an individual contributor involved in designing multilayer PCBs from Schematic creation to manufacturing files generation of embedded hardware systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones). Specific Responsibilities :

  • Schematic creation/ modification using Mentor CAD tools, Board Mechanical creation
Design Constraints settings, Placement & Routing, DRC Verification,
  • Assembly & Fabrication drawing creation, Manufacturing files Generation.
  • Execute the assigned PCB Design projects, managing time to meet project milestones and schedules.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams during the design phase and provide the design status to stakeholders
Qualifications: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering or similar field Desired Experience & Skills:
  • Must have 4-6 years of experience in designing the High-Speed multilayer PCBs using Mentor Graphics (pads layout), Altium Designer PCB Design tool set.
  • Candidate should know high-speed interfaces like DDR2/3/4, NAND, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet.
  • Should have an in-depth technical knowledge on PCB Design flow as given below
  • Schematic Creation
  • Schematic Verification using ERC
  • Netlist generation
  • Board Mechanical creation
  • Design Constraints settings
  • Parts placement
  • Routing
  • DRC Verification
  • Assembly & Fabrication Drawing creation
  • Gerber & ODB++ Generation
  • Design verification using Valor tool
  • Should have a knowledge on DFX
  • Should be able to read and understand the provided Design Inputs and Design requirements with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge on Gerber tool for Design verification is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on SAP/ ERP is an added advantage.
  • Candidate would be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a good team player and able to adapt to the work environment
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with good working attitude.
