To be successful in this role you should have exceptional leadership, communication and project management skills with multiple years of quality assurance experience, automation first mindset and belief in developing the skills and talents of others. The role includes responsibility for all of system tests, performance tests, solution tests, stress tests, automation framework and quality assurance analytics of the product group.The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally capable leader and seasoned manager dedicated to leading, managing, implementing, and delivering programs and processes that drive quality throughout the product development lifecycle. The Quality Assurance Leader will have the primary responsibility of driving a comprehensive quality assurance program, establishing performance objectives for product, documenting and implementing quality management core policies, tools and processes to ensure sustainable performance.Company Overview From device to cloud, McAfee provides market- leading cybersecurity solutions for both business and consumers. This world class engineering team is renowned for developing optimized high performance system software solutions with high availability and reliability. About you :Championing quality across the Network Security Platform product group Establish quality and automation goals for the product group, quality plans by product with go- no authority on releases based on quality criteria Drive the quality and automation roadmap and implementation of standards, methods, metrics and procedures ensuring and evaluating the quality and automation of our software products. The successful candidate has a strong technical background in the processes of an outstanding quality engineering and automation team. Establish quality measurement system via (ideally automated) dashboards or similar Lead and instill a sense of urgency for product and process improvement to meet and exceed customer requirements. Hiring outstanding quality and automation engineers and retaining top- talent. Ensures the customer support org and professional support org is ready for each new release and has the proper training to support the new release in the field. Guide and mentor the team in identifying root causes of quality issues by reviewing problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, analyzing results, recommending changes based upon findings, and following up to verify effectiveness Collaborate with peer engineering leaders and architects in quality strategy development and execution Experienced in leading a high performing central quality assurance and automation teams.
