Job Description

What you ll do

  • Delivery of complex applications with high reliability/scalability and near zero defect software
  • Solution design with Adobe s AEM 6X product
  • Responsible for component design, implementation, integration and customisation with AEM WCMS platform
  • Design and development of the AEM Components.
  • Expertise in Backend Sling Services, Integration services, AEM Workflows, UGC Content, Reverse Replication solutions, Design Patterns, configuration, development and testing
  • Page component development as well as component hierarchy and inheritance
  • Experience in AEM component/services talking to Database(RDS) systems like MongoDB etc
  • Extending existing CQ resource types and foundation components
  • OSGi bundle manifest structure (importance of Export-Package, Import-Package, Private-Package and resolution of dependencies within Apache Felix container)
  • Sling Servlet development with OSGi configurable parameters
  • Create and maintain effective modular software designs following the design and coding standards
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including architects and business solution analysts in a fast paced productive environment in different Timezones
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision at times and work in a managed team environment other times.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelors or a Master s Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent required
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience; excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in integrating AEM/CQ with 3rd party external services and handling transactional services in AEM
  • Experience in developing scalable web based applications and working with high volume consumer facing Internet Applications / Portals
  • Hands on experience in any of content management solutions like Interwoven, Vignette, OpenText, JCR complaint application servers .
  • Highest priority for people hands on Adobe AEM 6X and above
  • Exposure to AEM and its integrations with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign etc.
  • Strong experience is required on Java, J2EE, REST, JSP and JavaScript, JQuery web technologies.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent working Experience on Unix environments.
  • Good working knowledge and hands on experience with Tag libraries and frameworks.
  • Experience building content management solution using Apache Jackrabbit would be good for this position
  • Previous hands on experience on client engineering skills. Someone with strong presentation tier knowledge in this area.
  • Experience with OSGi and Apache Sling is required
  • Experience with Object Oriented technologies: OOA/OOD, Design Patterns and UML is preferred
  • Conversant with development process using different SDLC methodologies.
  • Good communication, team work and presentation skills is essential
