Job Description

Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Manager / Group leader responsible for electrification of 2W and 3W vehicles
  • Provide technical leadership for engineering team for establishing & sustaining system engineering competency : Focus on Requirements engineering and V&V
  • Support acquisition of OEM customer projects
  • Responsible for technical deliveries for EV customer projects
  • Defining the roadmap for EV Platform for India requirements
  • Participate in global platform projects for EV component and system development (eDrive, Control Units, IOT etc.)
  • Lead the Global Engineering Center for 48V traction battery development for light electro mobility (Product development, platform management, Value engineering etc.)Cross-functional responsibilities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders regarding Logistics, Customer quality team for field issues/ 0km failures & Project management. Support competency build up in these areas for handling EV business
  • Interface with Component product teams for eDrives and electronics and with manufacturing plans in India and China.
  • Liaise with Indian manufacturing units to enable localization projects for Motor, ECUs and battery packs.
  • Define the roadmap for India specific requirements work with Product management and customer key account leaders for definition of product strategy and customer strategy
