For more information, visit www.globalfoundries.com.Your tasks:In this position you will be integrated in our Technology Enablement team, Especially in projects the Advanced Circuit Design (ACD) department will be driving. In close collaboration with other disciplines across our worldwide engineering teams you will be developing Analog Mixed-Signal circuits which enable complex test chips during the development of advanced process nodes as well as dedicated customer demonstrator designs.Your responsibilities include:- The development of Analog Mixed-Signal designs at FinFet/CMOS/BCD technologies covering the following phases:- Circuit architecture- Circuit design and verification- Layout supervision- Sign off and release into dedicated IP validation test chips- Specification and documentation- Support of the silicon bring-up and characterization- Responsible for mentoring the junior design engineers- Full ownership of their design and the projects that they are involved in- Customer support, *Your profile:- You have an engineering Masters degree in VLSI or Microelectronics from a reputed academic institutes/unversity.- IIT/NIT/BITs are preferable - You have gathered dedicated design experience from 10+ years in the industry Ideally you have gained practical experiencesIn Analog Mixed-Signal design at one or several of the following areas:- Main analog building blocks (Opamps, COMP, BGAP, Chargepumps .)- Data Coverters (ADC/DACs)- Clocking and data recovery circuits (PLLs, Oscillators, .)- Power management IP (LDO, DC-DC Buck and Boost types) - I/O Further desired skills are:- Good knowledge of CMOS and FINFET technologies- Hands on knowledge of state of the art custom mixedsignal design flows- Programming experience applicable to design flow automation tasksThe capability to work within a very dynamic interdisciplinary environment as well as dedicated knowledge of 45/32/28/14nm and below technology nodes are an advantage.You are flexible, highly motivated and have a team-oriented working style. You have shown the ability to communicate as well as work efficiently in an international Multi-disciplinary environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
