Job Description

Help us on our mission to create best in class digital experiences in the Commercial Bank at JPMorgan Chase. As Senior Product Designer in Commercial Real Estate Digital team, you will create best-in-class digital product experiences across various financial touch points, channels and entire eco-systems while participating in the end-to-end design process. You will uphold the tenets of leading with empathy and customer-centricity as you work with product managers, engineers, researchers, writers, designers, marketing, legal, and senior business executives to transform end-to-end customer experiences.You are a self-starter and comfortable working in an environment with shifting directives and ambiguity. Your work will have reach and impact on a large scale in the financial services sector while working in a creative, dynamic and multicultural environment.Key responsibilities

  • Execute hands-on product design tasks as an individual contributor while supervising a small team of junior product designers
  • Document the design teams project book of work and coordinate with the development team in India, as well as global teams of designers and product managers
  • Deliver wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity screens, prototypes, and visual assets to support the product development process
  • Apply, maintain, and build upon design systems to ensure consistent designs across our products
  • Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including journey maps, storyboards, information architecture, etc.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, subject matter experts, copywriters, and legal
  • Iterate designs based on user insights from research team, as well as stakeholders feedback
  • Create click-through prototypes, presentations, and videos to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Drive design thought leadership by educating the team and the organization about our design process and best practices
Required qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • 8+ years of work experience in the design field
  • Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate abstract design concepts visually and verbally in a clear and engaging manner
  • Experience in the application of design systems such as Material Design
  • Proficiency in design, prototyping, and presentation software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Invision, and Keynote
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (e.g., products, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with designing highly complex product or system such as financial, healthcare, B2B, etc.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology
  • Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design
  • Knowledge/past experiences in financial or real estate services
  • Technical knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Video editing skills (iMovie, FinalCutPro, or other video editing software)
