To meet our suppliers needs, our smart, diverse, customer-obsessed employees are constantly innovating and building on new ideas.The Compliance Operations Program management team is looking for a motivated and data driven Senior Program Manager with strong technical skills, analytical and communication capabilities, and a hands-on passion to dive-deep into processes that enable worldwide selection classification. Your role will be to lead and drive critical programs to remove waste from our classification processes by diagnosing the processes, identifying improvement opportunities (short-term wins, as well as long-term wins through process design/redesign), prescribing improvement strategies and guiding the improvement effort to successful implementation at worldwide level. You will maintain close relationships with our stakeholders in order to understand our highest priority execution pain-points and opportunities that have a significant, measurable impact across worldwide manual classification processes, while enabling optimization of Compliance Operations processes to drive classification accuracy and efficiency.The successful candidate will create, develop and drive solutions that lead to a richer end-to-end customer and operations experience, enabling selection expansion, while ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities include:Lead large initiatives, coordinating the work of internal and partner teams. Responsibilities include program scoping, design, data collection, fieldwork and site visits, data analysis, proposal of new standards, communication of results to senior management worldwide, business action follow-up, and subject matter expert (SME) support for implementations of recommended improvements.Engage fully and deep dive into processes, highlight variation and identify corresponding root causes to define best in class for best practice adoption and standardization.Passion for innovation to ensure we deliver high quality programs processes that heavily rely on optimized tools, configurations and algorithms against agreed commitments.Plan and execute end-to-end operational analysis programs that result in standardization of classification processes and implementation of best practices.Make data driven decisions and recommend strategies that achieve measurable results for continuous improvement and change management.Develop and drive scalable end-to-end process improvement across worldwide manual classification related processes, leveraging lean management and Six Sigma or similar methodologies or approaches. Creating, developing and driving solutions that lead to a richer end-to-end customer and operations experience, whilst enabling selection expansion.Drive speed, quality, and simplification throughout by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work/ hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variance through standardization and automation.Develop and launch a sustainable process to formulate the key and priority process changes to eliminate gaps, evaluate risks, permanently and proactively solve root causes.Develop accurate and relevant metric-driven analysis to foster continuous improvement and step-function innovation that will enhance our internal and external customer experience.Improve the Standard Operation Procedures for the Compliance Operations teams.Obtain and maintain required safety and regulatory certification.Establish process management and governanceEach and every person buying, selling, or handling Amazon products will be your customer. If you would like to make a real-world difference by working hard, having fun, and making history, this is the team for you!, 5+ years of experience in program or project management Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects Bachelor s degree in BA or BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Behavior, or other technical field from an accredited university At least 5 years of technical project/program/product management experience, delivering on large-scale, cross-functional programs in support of business goals At least 2 years of experience with software product development Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions; including deep knowledge of Excel and SQL Experience in Lean/Six Sigma Mfg. methodologies Excellent attention to details to identify gaps and opportunities in procedures, and drive innovative, efficient solutions Ability to operate independently Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Excellent business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral Willingness to travel up to 20% of time to worldwide nodes Experience in software development lifecycle (User stories, Business Requirement Document, User Acceptance Testing) preferably in supply chain, logistics, or regulatory compliance domains MBA or Master s Degree in a related field Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
