We have several highly skilled teams in Chemistry, Hardware, Software and Measurement Technologies that work together in multi-functional project teams. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 600+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies include Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Danaher Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet and Cepheid.The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on the development of software and hardware components of innovative products for Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular Diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product Managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.Job DescriptionYour main tasks will be working on HemoCue s standalone software applications.You will be part of HemoCue s start-up software engineering team at IDC in Bangalore. Your main task will be software test development for the Windows .Net C# platform, as well as implementing tests in the AWS environment.Other tasks might include test and development on legacy software, where you will be a key resource in a sharply focused team, making sure that HemoCue s product fleet stay up-to-date without regression issues. You are expected to actively participate in the new team set-up, bringing your excellent subject matter knowledge and high personal spirit to best use!Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high quality software tests in collaboration with the rest of the software team.
• Establishment and maintenance of test automation frameworks
• Be part of creating unit and system tests for software components and ensure that adequate test coverage is provided
• Interact with both business and technical partners to deliver high quality products and services that meets/exceeds business customer, and technical requirements
• Active participation in code and design reviews within an agile team
• Integration of 3rd party software test framework into existing software development procedures
• Work with SW architects to understand the product domain and come up with creative solutions for new services, including test automation

Requirements

• Energetic and passionate about being successful and open to different technologies. Be familiar and comfortable with new technologies, taking the challenge up-front!
• Clear written and verbal communications skills. Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative and flexible. Good time management and organizational skills
• Experience with agile development methodology. Ability to work with multi-geography/site teams
• A great teammate and problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively to brainstorm, uncover key issues, solve and recommend/implement solutions
• Knowledge of professional software test engineering practices & standard methodologies.
• Prior hands-on experience, minimum five years, within the software test discipline
• Experience from development of Medical Device Industry software is a merit
• Experience with Usability Engineering is a merit
• Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field
