We empower the original mobile device: YOU!What were looking for:YOU as a Sr. software engineer will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on a multitenant, scalable SaaS service of a complex product, using the latest technologies in the cloud.Position Overview:We re building the core controller and management services that run Citrix ADC products across the public clouds and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can test our platform and do core automation of our products and other cloud constructs. You will have a significant influence on our overall test strategy by helping define the test architecture and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for test plan development and execution of system and stress tests of Citrix ADC features.
  • Gather deployment use cases from Product Management and field teams for identified features.
  • Build complex testbeds, replicating customer like environment, identify issues and work with development teams for timely resolution
  • Establish and maintain documentation of all work
  • Review test results and bug descriptions for accuracy
  • The ability to jump in for critical customer escalations and be able to think at a fast pace to solve issues in products and services
  • Recreate customer reported issues inhouse to identify the root cause and solve complex network challenges
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Should be extremely GOAL oriented and align-self to business/group needs
  • Strive for excellence (although not necessarily perfection always)
  • Use your talent, acquainted skills in the best way possible to meet business goals
Basic Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack (L2 through L7)
  • 5-7 years of network product testing experience
  • Good understanding of FreeBSD / Linux system internals
  • Excellent debugging skills both at protocol level (sniffer traces, tcp-dump, etc) and systems level (with kernel debugger)
  • Experience in managing apps in Cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP and onprem hypervisors like ESX, Xen, HyperV
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and system architecture
  • Strong programming proficiency in Perl and/or Python
  • Knowledge of industry standard traffic generator software like Spirent/IXIA
  • Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA processes, and software release cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to develop test strategy documents, test plans and testcases
  • BS degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
  • For individuals holding an advanced degree in one of these fields, additional years of formal education may be regarded as equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in working with container orchestration like Kubernetes, microservices communication, and other cloud-native areas is a plus
  • Prior experience in Configuring Jenkins pipeline to be able to run the scripts as part of the CI/CD
  • Exposure to industry standard tools like JIRA, GIT, Wireshark, Perforce etc.
