Job Description

Eligibility

  • Provide technical assistance in the installation, configuration, and implementation of Liferays Java-based technologies
  • Amaze clients by planning, designing, building, and delivering innovative solutions out of the box or through customizations
  • Maintain the confidence of both customers and colleagues in Liferay products and technologies
  • Demonstrates expert analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with strong motivation to identify and resolve customer issues
  • Take care of Portal / Portlet Development using Liferay Plugin and Liferay SDK Required:
  • Must have Minimum 4 years of Strong Liferay development skills
  • Must have relevant experience on Liferay hook, ext plugin development, and service builder.
  • Experience troubleshooting Liferay deployment issues Liferay DXP is preferred.
  • Must have strong experience in Spring, Hibernate, Web services and REST
  • Must have experience in Build Management (Ant/Maven)
  • Strong experience in web technologies like Java/J2EE
  • Strong understanding of OOPS Concepts
  • Experience with relational databases, Eclipse, issue tracking, and revision control (specifically Subversion and/or Git Nice to have:
  • Relevant experience on Liferay Themes, layouts
  • Relevant experience in Database (preferably Oracle)
  • Experience in writing enterprise-strength Java / J2EE code
  • Advanced understanding and experience in Java and OO design
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, JUnit
  • Development/architecture experience with web infrastructure
  • Should be able to estimate the duration of design & development tasks on an ongoing basis
  • Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle
  • Works well with a distributed team
