Job Description

Omni Design is looking for a Senior/Staff Applications Engineer focusing on high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters and other analog/mixed-signal IP. The successful candidate in this role is a Technical Pre-Sales/Post-Sales AE working with high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters and other high performance mixed-signal IP. Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of customer s analog and mixed-signal design challenges, especially at advanced process nodes, and guiding them in refining their requirements and successfully deploying analog and mixed-signal IP in their design.
  • Solid understanding of IC design technology and foundry process/methodology in analog layouts domain including a very good understanding of FinFET technology.
  • Experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal IC design in advanced CMOS processes
  • Must have experience taking analog or mixed-signal designs to production.
  • Familiarity with high-speed, high-resolution analog-to-digital (ADC) or digital-to-analog (DAC) data converters and their use in leading edge designs.
  • Experience in conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations to customers, including development of customized presentations and other collateral.
  • Experience supporting technical evaluations.
  • Working collaboratively with Sales Management to identify sales opportunities, prioritize them and help develop winning sales strategies.
  • Experience in developing an understanding of the customers needs and also of the competitions technology and sales strategies to create solutions that best meet our customer needs.
  • Communicating customer requirements and feedback to Engineering groups and Marketing for issue resolution and to improved product features and quality.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work with teams spread across geographic locations.
  • Must have ability to work independently and productively with high quality output and results in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Should be able to seek help proactively as well as share knowledge.
Education/Experience
  • Education Requirements: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience Requirements: 10+ years experience
  • Some travel will be required and necessary
