Senior Structural/ Rotordynamics Engineer Location: Bangalore, India. Required Education: PhD / Masters Degree Job Time: Full Time Experience Level: Mid- level Experience required: 5+ Years Job Type: Regular The Engineering Services division is seeking an experienced engineer with project management and technical skills that include thermal and mechanical/ structural design of steam and gas turbines, compressors and pumps. The applicant performs structural analysis of various turbomachinery components such as impellers, rotors, casing, valves, bearings, etc. This position involves close interaction with aero- thermal, mechanical design and CAD team to design state of the art turbomachinery components, redesign existing components to meet design requirements and working with customers to understand requirements and specifications. This position will also be responsible for performing Rotordynamics analysis, selecting and investigating materials for use in specific applications. The applicant should also be able to devise methodologies for prediction of mechanical strength and reliability. The applicant must possess a strong aptitude toward mechanical design and analytical thinking and the ability to focus on details, proven track record for technical excellence, practical approach, and excellent communication skills. The applicant should be able to lead and succeed in an integrated project team environment and should be able work under limited direction. 5+ years of turbomachinery flow path design experience with a Masters in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering is required. Ph.D in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred. Knowledge on working on commercial CAD CAE package is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience and qualification.,
