Job Title: Manager - Senior Technical Editor Broad Area - 1: Proofread the assigned deliverables to meet the expected criteria Understand the nuances and perform the basics of proofreading on various devices and environment Understand various client-provided style guides; seek regular clarifications with the Senior Technical Editor/Team Lead Learn and understand the checklist and cross-check for style, flow, alignment, layout, etc., between the script file and the final output Review assignments/tasks for data integrity, typos and sensible line breaks Perform second-level proofreading once the comments are addressed by the content/creative/project managersBroad Area - 2: Process adherence and compliance Be aware of all organizational, divisional and client-related policies and procedures related to quality, information security and data privacy Responsible to strictly adhere to quality standards for various deliverables as decided by the business unit or client Responsible to maintain confidentiality and copyright rules for various deliverables/clients and company norms Follow all the security rules with regard to various standards like ISMS, ISO, CMMI and client guidelinesBroad Area - 3: Self-development Participate in trainings and learn through hands-on experience on the job Exhibit flexibility in moving across new projects and varied deliverables Continuously enhance and maintain knowledge in language, grammar skills (punctuation, spelling and word choice) and format and ensure minimal grammatical errors Volunteer in training programmes to develop skills in areas relevant to the job in addition to the areas of interest
