Job Description

SFDC Data Migration LeadHow You ll Help Us:As a Data Migration Lead, you will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new division created within one of the largest technology providers in the world. Why the Role Is Important:Our Data Migration Leads are fundamental to ensuring the digital technology and related services that NTT DATA builds for our clients are valuable, intuitive, and impactful. The work of Data Migration Leads provide our clients and team with support, leadership, and direction to make sure projects are executed well and to deliver the engagement as promised.Once You Are Here, You Will:

  • Oversee the requirements and analysis of data in legacy systems and needs for data in new system, working in collaboration with business analysts, DBAs, technical SMEs, and business owners
  • Develop the strategy and define tasks, estimates, and milestones for data migration activities.
  • Oversee technical execution of data migration tasks and ensure milestones and deliverables are met over the course of the project including mock migrations in preparation for live migration.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and develop recommendations for resolving.
  • Identify and communicate issues, risks, and mitigation plans to project leadership.
  • Ensure data migration activities are delivered per the SOW. Identify deviations from the SOW and communicate to project leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in a Salesforce consulting role with at least 1 E2E Project as the Salesforce data migration lead
  • At least one Salesforce Certification
  • 2+ years experience with one or more of the following: Apex Data Loader, Informatica, Dataloader, InfoSphere
  • 2+ years experience with data modelling, relational databases and transact-SQL
Preferred:
  • Prior experience with a software development methodology, Agile preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization, follow up skills, and attention to detail

  • Problem Solver. You are creative but also practical in finding solutions to problems that may arise in the project to avoid potential escalations.
  • Analytical. You like to dissect complex processes and can help forge a path based on your findings
  • Self-driven. A motivated individual who can efficiently influence delivery in a complicated, matrixed organization
