Job Description

We are looking for a LeadSoftware Engineer for CTG BU in FMR India. This person will be part of the FPAIT (Finance Procurement & IT) team and will be focused on supporting the Accounting and Procurement application (primarily based on Oracle E-Business Suite). The candidate will be working as part of the development team.The Value You Deliver

  • Part of team working on development and enhancement requests for the Oracle eBusiness Suite applications.
  • Provide and design solutions in a smart and creative way.
  • Coordinate with the Business Analyst and Testing Teams to ensure timely resolution for all minor enhancements, tickets, defects.
  • Triage issues reported by Business Analysts, performing analysis to identify root causes and appropriate remediation
  • Participate in operations calls to discuss any relevant issues.
  • Collaborate with team on process improvement ideas, policy and procedure enhancements, and opportunities to improve our customers service experience.
  • Peer testing, code review, and impact analysis of the modules developed by the other team members.
  • Provides technical leadership to junior team members.
  • On occasion, addresses small groups on technical subjects or demonstrate systems.
  • Analyze and recommend improvement to coding process.
Technical / Behavioral
  • Minimum 4 plus years of experience in development of Oracle ERP applications
  • Good understanding and extensive working experience on SOA 11g/12c , BPM Workflow , WebLogic Server components.
  • Hands on experience in Oracle Apps technologies.
  • It will be nice if you have hands on experience with DEV OPS (knowledge of the DevOps concepts and tools like Git-Stash, Jenkins and uDeploy.
  • Also, if you have experience with Agile development, that will be great.
  • Technical/Functional knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite (Release 12.1.3) Financial Applications modules Accounts Payable, iProcurement, Purchasing, Account Receivables, Fixed Asset and General Ledger will be an advantage.
  • Should be able to lead implementation for new requirements and/or modification to existing functionalities from the business.
  • Will be nice to have experience in handling production support related activities like opening SRs with Oracle, do patch analysis, debug production issues and come up with fix etc.
  • Displays a full understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
  • Should be able to independently code advanced programs
  • Should have the ability to test and debug advanced code
