Job Description

As an integral part of Intels new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.Job DescriptionPerforms logic design, Register Transfer Level (RTL) coding, and simulation to generate subsystems for integration in full chip designs.Participates in the development of Architecture and Microarchitecture specifications for the Logic components.Provides IP integration support to SoC customers and represents RTL team.Should be able to independently develop and drive various logic design activities including micro-architecture, developing RTL code from high level specs, ensuring end to end design quality in terms of Lint/CDC/UPF/DFT/Synthesis/STA/Formal Equivalence etc.Should be able to provide technical leadership and direction to junior design engineers in the group and able to come up with technical proposals helping implementation.Assist Pre-Silicon Verification team in developing Test plan and test coverage.Review the coverage reports from regression tests and provide feedback to verification team.Provide debug support in triaging test failures.Collaborate with system validation and Firmware/software teams for platform level debugWork with structural design team to close floorplan and static timing on the block.Should provide technical expertise to post silicon team to help achieve Product quality.Workload analysis, Use case analysis, Performance and Power optimizations explorations and analysisBe able to interact with various stake holders to drive end to end quality, design objectives within stipulated schedule timelines.May also review vendor capability to support developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills is must.Effective team player with continuous learning mindsetWillingness to balance multiple tasks and work in a team environmentQualificationsQualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
