Job Description

As a Software Developer you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high quality software, with ever increasing performance requirements and simultaneously contribute to improve agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.Your role and responsibilities:As a Specialist Software Developer, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

  • Designing solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality
  • You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancement
  • Always consider performance implications when developing and refactoring code
  • Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives and time estimation of features and change requests
  • Give continuous feedback to other developers, architects, testers, as well as Project Managers
We expect you to have:
  • 6yrs of experience in Java Backend Development
  • Stong in Java (8 & 11), Spring, Hibernate.
  • Microservices Design & Development
  • Container Technologies - Kubernetes, Docker
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline with Gitlab, Jenkins.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience in Linux platform
  • Experience building large-scale business critical applications (Financial Sectors preferable
  • Passion for building great products and delivering to business and customers.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate closely with peers, external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related discipline
It would be great if you :
  • Some work experience in an agile software development environment
  • Experience from working in cross functional team in an agile way
  • Front-end development experience
