In this role, you are expected to work on distributed systems that handle real-time ingestion and analytics at a massive scale. You are passionate about data engineering, scalability, availability, and performance. You also have, 5 - 8 years of experience developing scalable platforms and microservices Proficiency in a programming language such as Java, Scala, or C++, a foundation in data structures and algorithms, and a strong understanding of threads, synchronization, concurrent programming Experience with any NoSQL, Analytics, or Relational databases.About the Role and What You ll LearnThe data platform powers AppDynamics Application Intelligence Platform. It handles billions of requests and massive amounts of metrics, events, and other data. It is real-time, extremely scalable, and highly available. It is the data source for performance monitoring and troubleshooting, policy evaluation, workflow automation, data visualization, and slice & dice data analysis. You will Develop data platform services and real-time data pipelines with distributed non-relational databases, distributed messaging systems, configuration, and synchronization services. Gain experience with infrastructure and systems engineering Gain experience with deploying and scaling services on cloud computing platforms like AWS Gain experience with HBase, Apache Spark, configuration and automation tools like Ansible, and container technologies like Docker.Join the Data Platform team and build the world s next great Application Intelligence Platform.
