Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Software Engineer Docker, Embedded Linux(Embedded Containerization) is responsible for design and development of various software modules used in embedded connectivity products. Projects could include: Connectivity Modules and Network Gateway Modules, utilizing technologies such as embedded microprocessors, Ethernet, cellular modems (LTE, 5G, etc.), Bluetooth / WiFi chipsets along with GPS/GNSS technology.Function of the role is to deliver production intent, automotive grade software to enable connectivity and security for future vehicles and mobility solutions. This Software Engineer - Docker, Embedded Linux(Embedded Containerization) position is located in our Bangalore, India Office.Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for development, integration and testing of embedded software in the Embedded Linux operating system.
  • Directly responsible for containerization (Example: Docker, LXC, Kata-Conainer etc.) including Build, Configure, Test, Deploy & Update Containers.
  • Interface with and support the Software Architect to develop and ensure global team alignment.
  • Analysis and systematic problem solving for embedded software. Debugging embedded software on hardware platforms.
  • Support the HARA/TARA development for the software team.
  • Support the Systems Engineering team with requirements analysis, traceability, effort estimations and in vehicle testing.
