We deploy as often as we can , and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one.For more details , read about our Social Media Marketing platformSoftware Engineer IIt s your chance to make a mark in the martech (marketing technology) by owning and creating next generation experiences and intelligence products that customers love.The job is to redefine how users interact with brands in each step of the customer lifecycle journey.Role : As a Software Engineer I you will play a pivotal role in making our Experiences and Intelligence products highly successful , by leveraging your expertise to implement and maintain complex features while ensuring quality , high - availability and continued innovation.Responsibilities : Develop high quality code to implement featuresWrite unit tests for all new codeImprove code quality by ing solid design principlesPerform code reviewsExhibit end - to - end ownership of a feature / task / bugSupport and own application availability per defined SLAWork closely with Engineering manager to suggest and implement architectural / design changesWork closely with Product manager to ideate and build feature enhancementsYou are : An engineer with BE / BTech in Computer Science or equivalent degreeA person with 1 - 2 years of experience in building enterprise grade productsA strong understanding of microservice architectureThe Ability to design , develop and implement scalable , elastic microservice based platformsWell versed with one or more of these technologies : Java , Scala , Ruby on Rails , JavaScriptAWS (Kinesis , SWF , EC2 , SQS , DynamoDB etc.)Elasticsearch , Redis , MySQLNext.js or React.jsExperienced in one or more of these technologies : SASS , LESS or similar CSS preprocessorsBootstrap , Google Material Design , Foundation , or similar; experience with CSS3 featuresHTML5 featuresExperience with EsNext library features and NodeJsDeep knowledge of web and accessibility standardsSolid experience building Responsive user interfacesAn engineer who writes testable and modular codeSomeone who understands git , pull requests and good software development practicesA programmer with a good understanding of Social media domain (nice to have)A believer in being Agile and not just doing AgileYou believe : Technology has the potential to influence users in ways unimagined in the pastProgramming is not just about writing code , it is about solving user s problemsEngineering does not stop at just coding , it s a journey of the code from your machine to achieve what you wanted the code to achieveEngineering is about getting things done , incrementally and optimallyTeam members learn from each otherAutonomy is awesome and love contributing to product ideasAbout KhorosFormerly Lithium + Spredfast , is the leading customer engagement platform providing Social Media Marketing , Care and Monitoring Solutions.
