Software Engineer- JAVA

Job Description

Mission: Being part of Schneider Electric IT business R&D Center in India, you are responsible for design, implement and deliver high quality design and configuration software to drive the selling of Schneider Electric data center products/solutions and services. You will be developing and maintaining enterprise web applications which helps our customers creating efficient Data Centers for their core business. This involves requirement analysis, Technical design, Testing implementation and support. Profile: You are a well-rounded developer with at least 5-7 years of experience developing enterprise applications, including at least 1 years doing so with Java technologies. You have a successful track record that demonstrates your ability to work in teams and deliver projects on time in a dynamic and agile environment.Knowledge and Skills RequiredGood development experience in developing web applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate and Databases. Experience in Web Services technology including XML, HTTP, SOAP, SAML Experience in using development tools like Eclipse Ability to learn new technologies quickly Strong understanding of product development life cycle Able to understand and translate Specification/Requirement into design and then to implementations Knowledge in Application Servers and Databases Knowledge and Experience on TDD Good communication skills oral, written and presentation Good experience in testing and test cases development for Unit, Integration, Systems and Functionality Testing. People skills - ability to work in a team, leadership qualities, ability to deal with customers.
