In this role you will be responsible for validating entire solutions with silicon, software and FW ingredients. The platforms are representative of our customer end solutions and in few cases the actual customer design or Intel branded product. You will be responsible for planning, understanding key features and landing zones, develop/integrate opensource networking/storage software/frameworks, automate and execute, report and document results. A key expectation is for you to work with internal customer focused teams and/or directly with customers to replicate, debug and root issues and provide impact assessment of functional bugs on performance. You will collaborate with IP, HW, software engineering teams to enable continuous improvement in platform engineering methodologies.QualificationsBS/MS plus 7 years of experience in roles of software integration and validation in the networking domain Good programming skills in C/C++/Python. Knowledge of any of the following DPDK, SPDK, Virtio, vRAN, OVS, TLS/Crypto, RMDA/RoCE, NVMEoF, network/storage acceleration is highly desirable Knowledge of OS and Network Virtualization, Container Networking Interface and Orchestration is an added plus Knowledge on Platform Solutions Validation, tools and methodologies is added plus. Prior experience on Customer engagement and co-engineering is preferred. Ability to work with cross geo teams and deliver quality end solutions through comprehensive validation. Strong self-initiative and persistence with ability to deal with ambiguity to focus and achieve end goals.
