Job Description

  • Sales BI Data Integrity & Support organization rolling up to PAG (Performance Analytics Group) team is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to work on latest cutting edge technologies to delivery project/program and be part of our innovation journey for help our customer build a comprehensive Sales/Finance Platform solutions for the EMC/Dell Combined organization. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell s Data Integrity delivery organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares flow charts and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
  • Responsible for preparing design documentation.
  • Designs, codes, tests and debugs software according to Dell s standards, policies and procedures.
  • Codes, tests and documents programs according to system standards.
  • Prepares test data for unit, string and parallel testing.
  • Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
  • Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles of applications programming.
  • Competent to work in most phases of applications programming.
  • Knowledge includes advanced work on standard applications programs including coding, testing and debugging.
  • Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
  • Support on data jobs and accuracy.
Essential Requirements:
  • 1+ years of relevant IT experience in Data-Warehousing Technologies
  • Should possess the below skillset knowledge.
    • Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server/GreenPlum as Warehouse Database
    • Exposure to Microsoft BI Suite
    • SQL/ Macros
    • Should know Basic ~ Medium UNIX Commands
  • Exposure in scheduling tools like Control-M
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills is a must have
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must be experienced in diverse industry and tools and data warehousing technologies.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications
  • Knowledge on Streamsets, Kafka & Teradata Certification
  • Experience in working in Agile (SCRUM) Methodology
