Job Description

With our deep industry knowledge and automation expertise, we understand the needs of our customers and enable them to lead through safer, more productive, and energy efficient operations.You will be working as SPlus System Product Owner for Industrial Automation Process Control Platform Division and will be part of the global R&D team, more precisely of SPlus System Team. You will be responsible for detailing system level requirements required for implementing business specific solution. You will be reporting to the R&D Technology Manager of Industrial Automation Process Control Platform Division.Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the system requirements are detailed and understood by all product owners and system feature is well developed from system point of view.
  • Coordinating the product alignment from requirement point of view.
  • Creating the requirements related to system level functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Owning the backlog of activities for the System Team which is created based on input from System Product Owner, System Release Owner and other relevant channels.
  • Facilitating alignment of key stakeholders (e.g. product management, product owners and architects) when needed.
  • Coordinating / interfacing with Business Lines & Product & Portfolio teams to get clarity on the requirements in system level and explain / elaborate to the relevant teams.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • Bachelor s Degree in a Science, Engineering or Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in SPlus control system preferably in engineering and commissioning.
  • Additional experience with any other ABB control system will be an additional advantage.
  • Must be self-motivated, interested in working as part of a team, and able to work in distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to develop schedules, plan activities for self and others and work well with other functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills written, verbal and presentation to different levels.
  • Direct connection with customers and having interfaced with different customers across BL s will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication in English is a must.
