The CX Cloud and Release team supports CX E&PI s efforts to build and integrate services that continuously improve our ability to provide products to customers while simultaneously delivering industry leading execution and availability.You collaborate across CX E&PI as well as the broader Customer Experience (CX) organization to lead and execute our DevOps transformation capabilities. As a thought AND practice leader, who not only recognizes and builds on our organizational strengths, youll bring new perspective and ideas to the team.Learn more about CX Cloud, https://www.youtube.com/watch v=XMvSX_2q8JQWho Youll Work WithResiding in the CX Cloud Operations team, this role will work across functions and partner with other engineering teams within the Cloud Ops team, the CX Cloud Platform, Security, Release and Applications teams. Every day and every interaction will be unique, engaging with a diverse representation of Product Management, IT, Digital Transformation and our architecture and delivery teams to establish and mature our DevOps practices and approaches.Specifically, you will:

• Accountable for technology infrastructure architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, business aligned projects and service provision
• Partner with Information Security on implementation strategy to reduce cyber security threats and reduce company s risk profile
• Maintains up-to-date technology skills and knowledge
• Evaluate system and/or network hardware, software, methods and techniques to keep the CXEPI infrastructure portfolio current
• Lead research and development projects to investigate the suitability of new or improved technologies, and contributes to strategic infrastructure planning
• Investigates and drives opportunities for continuous improvement in all areas of Infrastructure
• Accountable for design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Production Systems Operational Lifecycle to ensure it meets the business needs
• Lead and grow a diverse, inclusive team of software engineers to enable an end-to-end DevOps, IAC and a Paas implementation that ensures accelerated throughput and system reliability
• Partner with security, application and release teams to instrument a streamlined lifecycle of change from Dev, Test, Stage, Pre-Prod and Production environments
• Apply your experience implementing infrastructure as code, transforming release pipelines and deploying into production with a NoOps mindset on highly performant DevOps pipelines.
• Facilitate a disciplined approach to ensuring the predictability and quality of deployments
• Benchmark & optimize key operations metrics, ensure we meet operational SLAs.
• Test and have controls for security, reliability, scalability and performance standards.
• Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement & learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years leading and building DevOps teams
• You lead ethically with integrity, trust, and transparency
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise leading teams through IAC, Paas transformations running on mission critical platforms
• Should be well versed with the AWS well architected framework, Cloud Infra architect and can apply those principles while designing a solution.
• You have experience working in agile DevOps oriented teams and culture using modern frameworks, technology, DevOps practices using infrastructure as code tools
• You are well versed in best practices in DevOps and Cloud engineering
• You have demonstrated leadership in enabling teams to deliver microservice, infrastructure as Code, monitoring and logging expertise
• You have 10+ years working fluently across the SDLC
• You have strong leadership building and growing teams with expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment across complex product architectures while working with cross functional teams
• You have outstanding capability in defining the strategy and execution enabling high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring & alerts, automation and continuous high performance for cloud-native SaaS applications supporting a global customer base
• You have extensive experience managing teams with codepipelines and service catalog capabilities
• You have outstanding organizational and interpersonal relationship skills that foster collaboration; work well in a multi-functional, matrix management environment
• You have demonstrated domain expertise, either in running DevOps teams at SaaS or consumer cloud software companies, using technologies such as AWS.
• You have deep experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, including technology planning and execution and policy development and maintenance
• Knowledge of Atlantis and deep experience with ephemeral workloads is a plus +

10+ years of experience in a DevOps Advocacy or Engineering role

• Strong experience providing thought leadership on and practicing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code techniques
• Strong experience delivering and authoring Continuous Integration builds and deployment automation, IAC CI/CD Pipelines
• Strong experience building Cloud Native applications in a major public cloud
• Experience implementing observability, application monitoring, and log aggregation solutions
• Passion and experience collaborating with and guiding cross functional teams to provide DevOps inspired solutions
• Deep experience with ephemeral platforms
• Develop highly scalable, cloud native architectures for large data pipelines
• Transform heterogeneous build, test, deployment and release activities into a homogeneous enterprise level DevOps implementation running on AWS
• Responsible for incorporating DevOps principles into the day-to-day Operations and Developer Enablement
• Responsible for ensuring that processes are efficient, effective, compliant and that results are measurable and sustainable
• Responsible for 24x7 incident response and escalation
