JOB DESCRIPTION- Role: MEDICAL ADVISOR ONCOLOGY Reporting to - BU Medical Head Exp - 6 to 10 Years Qualification - MD or equivalent degree Expertise and Medical support : Therapy area expertise in Oncology especially solid tumours. Sound understanding of chemotherapy, Targeted therapies, Immunotherapy and supportive therapy. Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with all relevant teams RND, CD,Pharmacovigilance , Regulatory, Legal, Medical Writing, Quality, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Learning & development, Marketing Communications and Business development in the execution of relevant medical affairs activities. Strategy/BD/Market Access : Drive the company strategy and contribute to strategic alignment of assigned Project(s) and Brand(s) in respective BU.Valuate and prepare Medical rationale for business development proposals and give opinion on such molecules based on current medical evidenceCollaborate with state governments, institutional bodies and organizations for access projects Medical Affairs : Function as the medical brand advisor . Work as strategic partner with Marketing for preparation & execution of brand strategy of relevant therapy areaProvide marketing teams with new scientific information on products, competitors, opportunities and/or therapeutic areas for possible incorporation into promotional materials. Customers/KOL Engagements/ HCP interactions : Meet customers needs and expectations about assigned Brand(s) for delivery of key messages to all stakeholders as the medical brand advisor for both internal and external customers. Team : Assist Associate Director/Sr Director to evaluate new product opportunities and provide feedback to senior management based on current medical evidence.
