Reach caters to the next 100M Indians and beyond, by designing interfaces, launching multi-language experiences and testing new modes of interaction that lower language, internet literacy, logistics and other barriers for customers to shop on Amazon. Our mission is to build products and services that make Amazon accessible to the next 100M Indians irrespective of language, location and high-speed internet connectivity. This position will be in the Serviceability business area which focuses on optimizing the mix of services at different customer locations or pincodes.We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who is self-driven, analytical and has strong business acumen. The individual will drive critical mechanisms to help scale Amazon s adoption in different customer locations and interact with operations, marketing, and category teams on a regular basis to drive the team s goals. The candidate will also be responsible for streamlining cross-functional programs and processes to manage the ever increasing scale and complexity of transportation and retail services plus marketing operations.The role requires hands-on program management skills, strong customer obsession, strong analytical ability, and leadership skills. You will have to be extremely hands on, have excellent stakeholder management skills, and curiosity to keep learning as we venture into new use cases and scenarios.Responsibilities include: Analyze and dive-deep into evolving purchase patterns in different pincode cohorts and identify the right points of leverage to maximize our business Periodically monitor and review performance (via weekly and monthly business reviews) and take actions to correct any deviations. Work closely with DEX and Trans to identify and solve for delivery issues in pincodes outside top 100 cities. Own and drive mechanisms to improve experience in areas where we are acquiring customers at a faster rate vs. platform. Build mechanisms that allow different teams to streamline their efforts. Identify automation gaps and fix them Work with the BI team to build out a scalable tracking infrastructure that provides granular detail on our performance in different pincodes and identifies opportunities to increase business or reduce costs Work closely with finance teams to understand the cost of servicing far-flung locations. Where necessary, pilot cost-effective servicing solutions in partnership with trans Work with internal and external SMEs to define a single point of reference for pincodes in India. Keep abreast of the changes to valid pincodes as per multiple external sources, Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Innovative, team oriented, with a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities Detail-oriented. Strong numerical and analytical aptitude. Strong ownership ability to work independently and deliver results. Strong stakeholder management experience; ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines. Experience in using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.Bachelors degree: Any Master s degree / MBA from Tier 1 B-school. Total work experience, 7+ years with at least 4+ post-MBA experience (preferred)
