Job Description

*Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to lead a software development project end-to-end along the automotive V-cycle
  2. Act as a technical interface between the project teams in India and the Software and System Responsibles in Germany.
  3. Accountable for Requirement Analysis, Software requirements, Modelling, Software integration and testing
  4. Accountable for effort estimations and work breakdown.
  5. Responsible for ensuring Software Delivery as per the specified requirements and timelines.
  6. Responsible for implementing Project Management practices to comply with the V-model for development.
  7. Ensure availability of Test Specifications, ensuring Code Coverage, Model Quality and Model Validation (MIL, SIL)
  8. Ensure that the deployed SW is bug-free and adheres to Model and SW development guidelines.
  9. Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the activities of the Development team with an aim to improve the overall System Understanding.
, *Basic Qualification:
  • Bachelors or Master s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/ Masters in Computer Applications
  • 12-15 years of overall experience in automotive software development activities including project management, requirements engineering, system analysis and validation.
  • Good understanding of Body & Comfort systems and more specifically in HVAC for AUTOSAR based model development.
  • Must have played a key role in the complete lifecycle of at least 4 - 5 Development projects.
  • Must be aware of Modelling guidelines and must have a good experience in tools like MXAM (Model Quality) and MXRAY (Model Metrics).
  • Good exposure to configuration management tools like PVCS, SVN, GIT and requirement management tool, DOORS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Model development and auto-code generation using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and TargetLink has added advantage.

  • Knowledge on German language preferred.
