Job Description

The Cybersecurity organisation is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, nimble, and pragmatic leader with a digital mind-set to join our team as a Manager to lead a group of engineers working in the Identity and Access Management technology team.Role:Responsible for developing and administering solutions that meet system expectations relative to scalability, performance, fault tolerance, usability, and data integrity for the Identity Management function. The IDM function includes Identity Management, Access Management, Access Certification, Tech Owner Entitlement Verification, Business Owner Entitlement Verification, AD Groups Lifecycle, Application Onboarding and Setup and the Direct Provisioning. Collectively these systems are responsible for the management of Identity and Access for the firm and delivering solutions that meet end user expectations relative to performance, usability and security.Responsibilities:This role requires the leader to do the following:

  1. Works closely with partners in US and aligns with the overall vision of the IDM Cybersecurity organization
  2. Work as a part of the IDM team in India
  3. Well versed with development and maintenance of Identity and Access Management Technology systems.
  4. Knowledge and skills requirements:
  5. Back-end Development
    1. Java (Advanced)
    2. Spring Boot (Advanced)
    3. Cloud Foundry (Advanced)
    4. Microservice architecture (Advanced)
    5. Oracle / SQL (advanced)
    6. API Development(Intermediate)
  6. Front-end Developer
    1. Java (beginner)
    2. ReactJS (Advanced)
    3. HTML 5 (Advanced)
    4. JavaScript (Advanced)
    5. CSS 3 (Intermediate)
    6. SPA (Single Page Application) & RWD (Responsive Web Design) Intermediate
    7. REST , microservices integration (Intermediate)
    8. Node.JS (beginner)
    9. Webpack, Grunt like tools for Package management (Intermediate)
    10. Unit Testing Frameworks like Jest (Intermediate)
  7. Work with product owners, project managers, and business users to understand requirements and develop solutions
  8. Is able to provide hands on expertise towards:
    1. Maintenance of Service Quality
    2. Meeting the Support SLAs
    3. Delivery on commitments within agreed timelines
  9. Additionally, should be able to:
    1. Perform code reviews and provide guidance to team members
    2. Help troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues
  10. Formulates a clear purpose for the team based on client and product strategy, integrating regulatory requirements
  11. Is a change agent and is effectively able to implement changes in a win-win mode
  12. Ensures regulatory compliance across the entire team
Experience:The role requires an individual who has grown up the ranks with a strong technology hands-on background and has the following experience:
  1. 12+ years in the IT industry. Hands on experience in building / developing / deploying Identity and Access Management systems at scale is a big advantage.
  2. At least 5 years of experience of working in the Financial Services industry.
  3. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience developing software and using an agile methodology (Scrum)
  4. Hands on experience in end-to-end application engineering lifecycle (Angular/Node JS, Typescript)
  5. Experience working across Linux and Windows platforms
  6. Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  7. Experience in working in a cross-functional organization, in a multi-cultural ecosystem
  8. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Educational Background
  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering from a reputed engineering institute in India
  • Relevant proven work experience in the area of Information Security is required. Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC is preferred.
